Which costs more? A taxi ride, or the gasoline needed to drive there?

When we originally design this in 2004, the price of gasoline was about $1.50 a gallon. Our design originally displayed $2.50 per gallon.

Prices shot way past that in late 2005, and we updated our design to display the alarming spectre of $5 a gallon. When will it stop?
